Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves are not afraid to show off their fun side. The pair decided to get a little wild, showing off their dance moves and promoting their tequila brand, Pantalones Organic Tequila, which they introduced in 2023.
In their latest campaign, the couple took a carefree approach, letting loose while line dancing and enjoying some drinks. The behind-the-scenes of the playful commercial was documented, and the actor decided to share a glimpse of how it was filmed with his fans and followers.
McConaughey took to social media to show himself and his wife having fun while shooting, dancing, and showing how the commercial made it look like they had no pants on with the help of special effects.
The actor captioned the post, “The Official Tequila of Gettin’ Out of Line,” alongside footage of them dancing and wearing cowboy attire. “What’s the recipe for a great night out?” the Hollywood star said in one of the videos, with his wife chiming in. “Well, start with Pantalones Organic Tequila.”
McConaughey added, “Add in some friends and music.” The couple, who are known for showing their authentic side and sharing their parenting journey, posted footage of themselves enjoying the moment while wearing nude shorts.
“We’re precious about our tequila - not our pants,” they said in a press release for the brand. “With the explosion in popularity of tequila, there’s a level of snootiness that’s crept into the category. People now talk about tequila the way they talk about wine. While we’re all for being passionate about tequila, we wanted to remind people that, above all, it’s meant to be fun."
They also explained the name of the brand, Pantalones. “That’s why you won’t see us wearing any,” they added, referencing their pants-free campaign.
