If you thought Hollywood beef was just for red carpet shade and subtweets, buckle up because the next act might involve subpoenas, scripts, and possibly a rooftop scene praised by the most famous squad member of all: Taylor Swift.

Swift and Hugh Jackman star in this week's headline after they are reportedly on the subpoena shortlist in Blake Lively's spiraling legal war with her "It Ends With" Us co-star Justin Baldoni.

A-Lister Showdown: From Movie Set to Legal Set

Back in December 2024, Lively sued Baldoni for emotional distress and lost wages related to the production of "It Ends With Us." Baldoni clapped back with a countersuit in January 2025, to the tune of $400 million, no less, accusing Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of defamation, emotional distress, and of allegedly using their celebrity pull to control the film's creative direction.

But now the drama has officially gone beyond the cast list.

According to a Daily Mail insider, Taylor Swift, 35, and Hugh Jackman, 56, are expected to be served legal documents, not cocktails, this week at Casa Cipriani. The source added ominously, "It could happen at any time," claiming that Swift has been "waiting."

Waiting for justice? Or just her latte at Tribeca's finest café? Unclear.

The Swift-Lively-Rooftop Connection

This tangled web traces back to one suspiciously scripted rooftop scene. According to court filings, Baldoni claimed that Lively used her friendship with megaceleb Swift as leverage during a script rewrite session held at her and Reynolds' NYC penthouse. While Baldoni didn't explicitly name Swift, she was all but confirmed in a follow-up text where Baldoni reportedly wrote: "I really love what you did. It really does help a lot. Makes it so much more fun and interesting. (And I would have felt that way without Ryan or Taylor)."

He later clarified, under legal pressure, that the message was meant to diffuse a high-stakes creative moment and was not intended to suggest he felt coerced. Still, Baldoni's legal team is playing hardball, describing Swift and Reynolds as "dragons" that Lively could unleash at will.

Rumors say that Blake Lively and Taylor Swift are at odds, allegedly due to controversies surrounding the film adaptation of 'It Ends with Us'

Gossip Girl meets Law & Order

So, how did Wolverine and the "Bejeweled" singer get dragged into this?

Swift has been close with Lively since 2015, sharing birthdays, Super Bowl seats, and Instagram shoutouts. Jackman is a long-time pal of both Lively and Reynolds and recently starred alongside Reynolds in "Deadpool & Wolverine." All three attended an NFL game together in 2023, looking every bit like a Netflix crossover episode waiting to happen.

But things may not be so cozy now. Sources told Page Six that Swift "can't help but feel used" after being dragged into a courtroom drama for which she had never auditioned. Still, she's reportedly "not afraid" of testifying and has since received a "genuine and heartfelt" apology from Lively.

Swift, being Swift, is said to be "ready to move forward."

What Happens If They Testify?

If Swift and Jackman are indeed subpoenaed, their testimonies could carry significant weight, especially if they support Lively's claims or reinforce Baldoni's argument that celebrity influence overstepped its bounds.

If either takes the stand, expect the internet to explode, the fan cams to multiply, and a thousand think pieces to bloom.
