Eva Longoria stole the show at the Global Gift Gala on Saturday as she arrived at the Hotel President Wilson in Geneva, Switzerland, on Saturday, April 19. The Desperate Housewives alum looked absolutely stunning as she. sparkled down the carpet in a silver beaded dress with a strapless neckline and dramatic train.
Showing just how great a woman can look at 50 years old, Longoria--who served as honorary chair at the event--accessorized the ensemble with a silver necklace and earrings. To not distract from the extravagant dress, Eva kept her hair simple, wearing it straight over her shoulders and donning a simple, neutral makeup look.
After taking some stunning snaps by herself, she was joined on the carpet by her 6-year-old son, Santiago, whom she shares with husband José Bastón. Santiago looked adorably dapper as he stood next to his mom wearing a light gray blazer over a blue button-up. He also wore dark shorts, knee-high socks and brown dress shoes as he smiled happily for the cameras.
Longoria’s trip to Geneva comes just a few weeks after she celebrated her 50th birthday with a star-studded party in Miami. Photos obtained by Page Six showed the actress dancing with famous friends like Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, Becky G, and more at David Grutman’s Casadonna. She was also joined by her husband, who “endearingly stood by her and celebrated her” as she rang in the big milestone, according to the outlet.
Just a few days later, the actress celebrated her birthday with a second, more intimate gathering on a yacht.
“Grateful to have begun celebrating my birthday (as it will be a month long 🤭) I felt so loved! Thank you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday! Ready for this new decade ✨,” she captioned a slideshow of images from the event.
