She also shared a photo of him alongside his The Fall Guy co-star, Emily Blunt. "My man is the F best!" she wrote in the caption. “Unfortunately, success is almost only measured by the box office,” Mendes continued.
“So I’m extra proud of my man for turning his entire Fall Guy press tour into a campaign to get stunts recognized by the Oscars. And now after almost 100 years of stunt design not being acknowledged by the Academy, it’s officially a category!! This is a HUGE success! And an achievement that will last. Congratulations to the incredible stunt community!!” She concluded.

The couple - who’ve been together since filming The Place Beyond the Pines in 2011—are known for keeping their relationship and family life incredibly private. The news is long overdue. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences officially announced this week that a new category for stunt coordination and performance will be introduced at the 98th Oscars in 2027.
