Kourtney Kardashian and Kris Jenner have some friendly disagreements over baby Rocky's sleeping arrangements. Kourtney welcomed her son Rocky a little over a year ago with her husband Travis Barker, with the two sharing adorable updates of their boy on social media. In a new episode of "The Kardashians," Kourtney revealed that she and Travis practice co-sleeping with Rocky, a method that Jenner isn't really a fan of.
"While the baby is sleeping, I’m just very efficient and on it these days to just get things done so I can get back into the bubble," said Kourtney in one of the episodes' confessionals.
She revealed that she has "baby brain," a colloquial term for mothers who are forgetful and can only think of their babies. “I love baby brain. I mean I don’t know exactly, I’m not a scientist, but supposedly so that you…moms focus on their baby, you can’t really think of other stuff," she said. "And it’s true, because I can’t really think of anything else.”
Kris Jenner had some thoughts about her daughter's co-sleeping arrangements, sharing how life used to be when she had children.
“We didn’t co-sleep in the ‘80s! No, we didn’t. We had structure. We had schedules," Kris said in a confessional. "We had mealtime. We put our kids to bed at 7 o’clock and then we’d go to dinner and have some grown-up time. And it was a wonderful life.”
What Kourtney has learned with her co-sleeping journey
In an article published on Poosh, Kourtney revealed that she's been co-sleeping with her kids for years. She explained that while her journey with each of her kids has been different, those who started off sleeping with her ended up naturally sleeping on their own.
"Some of the advantages of shared sleep for my family included a better and longer night’s sleep and more time together as a family," wrote Kardashian.
"As a working mom, if I didn’t have much time with my babies during the day, at least I knew we’d have our nights together."
Kourtney is the mother of Mason, Penelope, Reign, and Rocky. She shares the first three with Scott Disick.
