Six months into their relationship, Sheynnis Palacios and Carlos Gómez faced breakup rumors after she deleted all their Instagram photos and posts from Instagram. In response to the speculation, the Salvadoran beauty queen has spoken out, clarifying that these reports are merely rumors and that their relationship is "better than ever."
During her appearance on the morning show "Hoy Día" (Telemundo), Sheynnis was interviewed by Carlos Calderón and Andrea Meza about her new professional stage as a speaker. As expected, the topic of her relationship with Carlos Gómez came up. Somewhat incredulous about everything that was being said about her and her beau, the Salvadoran reacted by saying, "Really? Seriously?"
Sheynnis, who is now a motivational speaker after her Miss Universe tenure, spoke affectionately about Carlos. She emphasized, "Well, I want to tell you that my 'beautiful Moreno' is supporting me at the conference tomorrow (Wednesday) and has been with me and that a photo does not define whether the relationship is good or even bad," she stated. "From my mouth, you'll hear that my relationship is better than ever."
In the interview, Andrea Meza, crowned Miss Universe 2020, agreed with her colleague: "These days, people think everything must be reflected on your social media..." To which Sheynnis sharply added: "Privacy is a privilege."
Fans noticed last Friday that both Sheynnis and Carlos had removed each other’s photos from their profiles, sparking rumors that their publicly celebrated romance had ended. This immediately started speculations that their romance—which they made public last September—had ended.
However, despite the rumors, Sheynnis affirms that her relationship with Carlos remains stronger than ever.
