Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente are enjoying their new chapter together following the birth of their baby boy River. The model and the jiu-jitsu trainer were photographed having romantic family moments before Gisele gave birth to her third baby in early February.
Most recently, Joaquim was spotted in Miami walking their family dog and enjoying a bike ride. As reported by PEOPLE, Gisele has been "the happiest she's ever been" amid the new stage of her life, spending time with her loved ones and leaning on her romantic partner during the special moment of her life.
"Gisele's doing great," the insider said to the publication just before the pair welcomed their new baby, explaining that the fan-favorite model is "truly thriving."
The insider said that "the baby has been a happy surprise," in their lives, sharing that Joaquim is thrilled about their baby.
Back in October 2024, a source said to PEOPLE that the model was “excited to embrace this new chapter openly," mentioning her preference for keeping her personal life private. “[Gisele] wanted to keep it private for as long as she could, doing so was starting to be a challenge," the insider said at the time.
“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life," the source said, commenting on their desire to create "a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family."
The model's pregnancy was revealed in October when she was around 5-6 months along. A source told TMZ in early February that Gisele is "super happy" and both she and the baby are healthy.
Gisele's relationship with Joaquim was confirmed by a source to PEOPLE in February 2024.
"They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other," while a second insider told the outlet he was there for her during her divorce. “He was a huge comfort for Gisele while she went through her divorce. Their friendship turned romantic after the divorce.”
