Paparazzi approached the Kings League founder, and although he was asked a few questions about the game, he responded, "Everything's good," and smiled politely. Piqué continued walking, holding hands with 10-year-old Sasha, while his eldest son, 12-year-old Milan, walked beside them.
Gerard, who has often been in the spotlight recently, appeared calm during this public outing. His eldest son wore a red Chiefs jersey with the number 15 in support of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Meanwhile, Gerard and Sasha chose not to display any team preferences in their outfits. Milan completed his look with a white cap and dark cargo pants, while his younger brother wore gray jeans and a brown T-shirt. Gerard himself opted for a black T-shirt, a matching cap, and blue jeans.
Father and sons continued, blending into the crowd and paying little attention to the paparazzi who had intercepted them. Gerard is used to the spotlight, and his children are as well, having been in front of cameras since birth. It is unclear how long Piqué and his sons stayed in New Orleans, but it wouldn't be surprising if they returned to Miami soon to resume their routine and prepare for the school week.
This marks the former F.C. Barcelona star's first public appearance with Milan and Sasha since it was revealed that he had plans to relocate to the United States to take care of them while their mother embarks on her "Las Mujeres No Lloran" Tour.
Shakira's Alleged Reaction to Piqué's Move to Miami
The images of Gerard Piqué and his sons come shortly after reports about Shakira's reaction to her ex-partner's decision to move to "Sunshine City" to care for their children while she is on tour.
According to the Spanish podcast "Mamarazzis" on El Periódico, Piqué had proposed to Shakira the option of relocating to Florida to look after their children while she was away, but she reportedly had reservations.
"The Colombian artist will take her children with her on tour and rejected her ex's proposal from the start. He believed, and still believes, that 'for the stability of the children,' his move to Miami to live with them would be the best option," said the podcast hosts, Lorena Vázquez and Laura Fa.
They also reported that "conversations on this matter have been more than tense" between the singer and her ex-partner. Piqué's inner circle was allegedly surprised by Shakira's stance. "They can't believe it and are questioning what will happen with the children's school schedule," they added.
