It looks like Justin Baldoni is going to open up about his legal battle with Blake Lively for the very first time.

The It Ends With Us director can be seen in a newly-released teaser for an upcoming appearance on the Gent’s Talk podcast, where he looks visibly distraught. Baldoni broke down in the clip during a moment of reflection amid his ongoing legal feud with his It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively.

“I had an intense year,” he says in the sneak peek. “This morning I sent a text message.”

The Jane The Virgin alum goes on to admit he "had anxiety” before the preview jumps to him admitting to host Samir Mourani, “I haven’t talked about this yet.”

The clip concludes with Baldoni hiding his face in his hands before the screen goes black, teasing that the full episode of the podcast is set to premiere on Monday, Feb. 10.

Baldoni’s appearance on Gent’s Talk was filmed in November, a month his It Ends With Us costar filed her California Civil Rights Department complaint, in which she accused her former co-star of sexual harassment. She also claimed in the filing that Baldoni and his team allegedly orchestrated a smear campaign against her in the media. The complaint was later turned into a formal lawsuit.

Baldoni has repeatedly denied the allegations made by the Gossip Girl alum, also filing a defamation lawsuit against the New York Times for their coverage of her complaint. He went on to respond further by filing a $400 million lawsuit against Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist on Jan. 16.

The legal battle between these two has been a hot topic in pop culture for months now, with new information from the set coming out almost every day. Baldoni and his legal team have made several attempts to refute Lively’s claims of sexual harassment by releasing raw footage from the It Ends With Us set and launching a website with alleged text messages between the ex-co-stars.

Despite just how much attention this case has been getting, a resolution won't come for at least another year. A judge has scheduled Lively and Baldoni’s trial for May 2026.
