Megan Fox is reportedly devastated after ending her engagement to Machine Gun Kelly, real name, Colson Baker. While the couple has a history of being on and off, their latest breakup was shocking because they announced their pregnancy just weeks ago.
With the 38-year-old carrying their first child, a source told PEOPLE she is "devastated and very emotional." TMZ reported that Fox found something upsetting on Kelly’s phone over Thanksgiving weekend while they were in Vail, Colorado, prompting them to cut their trip short. The insider said she is "distraught" and feels "blindsided" by the singer.
"She feels like she can't trust him," a source told the PEOPLE. The insider explained that they have had so many issues in the past, and while Megan was "always hopeful" that they would be able to work it out, "She seems over it now."
The couple was not living together, with Fox renting various places, but she recently purchased an $8 million home in Los Angeles. But even before the split, the mansion was always intended as a space just for her and the three children she shares with Brian Austin Green.
Brian Austin Green responds
Green, her ex-husband, recently shared his thoughts on the MGK situation. He found out the news while chatting with TMZ and seemed visibly upset, especially with the rumored reason for the split. "How old is he? Do you know? He's in his thirties, isn't he?" he said, questioning his maturity. "I mean grow up. She's pregnant," he said.
"I just want the best for her, want the best for her baby, for our kids -that's a shame. That's a shame. I'm heartbroken about it because I know she has been so excited, and the kids are so excited for life and the change, and all that," he said, concerned.
Where is MGK?
As for what MGK is up to, he tweeted that he was isolating himself in the desert to restart his current album. He wrote on November 25, “Isolating myself in the desert next week to restart this album from scratch. When inspiration flows through me unblocked, we will reach the destination in no time. Don’t worry.”
The tweet seems to have come before the breakup since Thanksgiving was on the 28th.
Fox and Kelly got engaged in January 2022. The Subservience actress revealed her pregnancy on Instagram with the caption, "Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back," tagging Machine Gun Kelly. Fox experienced a miscarriage in the past, which she opened up about in her poetry in November 2023.
