Summer has arrived early in Hollywood, at least when it comes to hair. Jennifer Garner and Katie Holmes are both kicking off the new season with radiant new looks, trading in their signature brunette locks for softer, sun-kissed styles.
Just last summer, stars marked the end of Spring with blonde highlights, including Jennifer Lopez and Amal Clooney, among others.

Katie debuted her summery transformation just ahead of the Season 2 premiere of Poker Face, where she plays a new role in the hit series. Swapping her classic dark brown locks for lighter, longer strands with blonde highlights, she showed off a boho-chic aesthetic.

Her face-framing highlights and tousled waves were styled by DJ Quintero, with makeup by Genevieve Herr and wardrobe styling by Brie Welch.
She paired her new look with a blue-and-white floral suit and a black top. She completed the ensemble with brown suede kitten-heeled mules and a matching fringed bag.

Meanwhile, Jennifer revealed her own summer transformation. The star showed off a new honey-blonde look on Instagram in a sweet video celebrating her mother, Pat Garner’s 87th birthday.
She sported a glowing new hue. Her color combined golden toffee and warm brown tones, with a soft blonde sweep through the mid-lengths.
Jennifer kept her natural roots intact, resulting in a stunning and glossy result that perfectly framed her signature curtain bangs. She styled the look with wispy layers and loose waves, while wearing a sleeveless ivory jumpsuit cinched at the waist with a black leather belt.
Her accessories included a stack of gold bangles and delicate hoop earrings, while her makeup remained minimal, featuring a bronze eye, rosy cheeks, and a glossy pink lip.
