Short Bob

Short hair will be a major trend this year, and one of the most stylish and flattering options is this version, as explained by Redken hair designer and ambassador Juandiegoteo.

"It's a haircut similar to the famous carré but much more flattering. Since it reaches the jawline, it enhances facial features significantly. The best part? It suits all face shapes."

Long Pixie

For those who aren't ready for the most minimalist pixie, Juandiegoteo recommends this variation:  "This is an elegant haircut, perfect for women looking for a bold transformation while highlighting their features. The long pixie leaves more length on the top and sometimes on the sides."

He also notes that:

  • For round faces, keeping the sides sleek and concentrating volume at the crown is best to create the illusion of a longer face. A side-swept fringe also complements this face shape.
  • For long faces, always add a fringe and longer sides.
  •  For square faces, volume at the crown and a side fringe work best.

Butterfly Cut

The Redken ambassador describes this as a layered haircut: "The layers frame the face and often include long, thick bangs that part in the middle and can reach the jawline. This cut softens and balances features, making it ideal for oval, square, and long faces. The number of layers is always customized, but typically ranges from 2 to 6, depending on hair density and length."

Mixie Cut

A daring choice, this look—worn by Rita Ora at the 2024 Fashion Awards—will also be a hit: "A fusion between the mullet and the pixie, the 'Mixie Cut' adds texture and dynamiThis daringsm," say experts from Madrid's Blow Dry Bar. It's the perfect choice for women with a punk spirit.

Layered Hair

A major trend throughout 2024, and it's not going anywhere in 2025. Experts at Blow Dry Bar confirm:  "Layers are always a great choice for those seeking freshness and volume in their hair. This cut rejuvenates and adds movement."

Long Bangs

A huge trend, with many celebrities already adopting it this year with stunning results:  "A straight fringe adds a youthful touch and elegantly frames the face. Inspired by the '90s, this style is perfect for those looking for a subtle yet impactful change. Taylor Swift wears it effortlessly, highlighting her facial features in her recent public appearances."

Asymmetrical Bob

"Many celebrities have rocked this haircut—Victoria Beckham when she moved to the U.S., the Kardashians, and Jedet. It's a very sexy look because it exposes the neck and works not only for women in their 50s but also for those in their 20s, 30s, and 40s. It suits everyone," says Juandiegoteo about this throwback trend that's making a fresh comeback.

Blunt Bob

A sleek, minimalist cut that enhances facial features with elegance and sophistication. "Right now, celebrities like Jessica Biel are wearing it with honey highlights, Lucy Boynton has taken it to the next level with extra volume and movement, and Kendall Jenner is debuting it in a stunning warm brunette shade," explains Rosa Roselló, head of training at Druni.

Long Bob

Another trending cut, as seen on Valentina Zenere. According to Juandiegoteo: "One of the most requested and flattering styles. Why? Its versatility. It can be worn with or without bangs, super sleek, curly… The only constant is its length—it extends just beyond the chin."
