Kate Middleton will be stepping out for her final gala dinner of the year. The event will take place at a State Banquet at Windsor Castle, hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla in honor of German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and First Lady Elke Büdenbender, who are on a state visit to the United Kingdom.

This promises to be one of the highlight evenings of 2025, featuring speeches from both the British monarch and the German president. It will be another occasion for the Princess of Wales to command the spotlight. With just hours to go until the event, we revisit the other two gala dinners she attended in 2025.

Kate’s second high-profile dinner of the year was the most talked-about. In September, she appeared sublime in a floral lace gown, once again wearing Diana’s tiara, for a State Banquet in honor of U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania.

She complemented the look with cluster diamond earrings and a central piece featuring a gradient of diamonds from Queen Elizabeth II’s collection.

The Princess left such an impression that President Trump could only offer praise, “Seeing Her Royal Highness, Princess Kate, so radiant, so healthy, so beautiful. It’s a great honor,” he said.
