Alexandre Grimaldi was welcomed at the Missouri stadium by the Hunts, one of the legendary Texas dynasties and owners of the Kansas City team since its founding. Clark Hunt, the current president and CEO of the Chiefs, is the grandson of oil tycoon H. L. Hunt, who is said to have traded poker winnings for oil rights. Hunt also projects the image of a family man, always seen with his wife Tavia and their three children Gracie, Ava, and Knobel, the only son who is being groomed to follow in his father’s footsteps. The Hunts made the most of their European getaway, heading from Monaco to the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, one of the most exclusive and storied hotels on the French Riviera. A symbol of luxury, elegance, and privacy for over a century, it was a favorite of Grace Kelly before she met Prince Rainier of Monaco and was popularized in the United States by icons like Elizabeth Taylor and F. Scott Fitzgerald, among others. The Hunts wrapped up their trip with a few days at Lake Como, a prelude to their traditional family vacation in Hawaii.
