Victoria of Sweden and Daniel Westling enjoyed their honeymoon in French Polynesia after their royal wedding in June 2010, but you'd never guess it's already been fifteen years as you look the Crown Prince's latest photo album in Japan. While this trip is an official occasion for the Osaka World's Fair, the couple has organized a parallel holiday plan to enjoy the scenery, art, and each other.
After completing their Swedish engagement in Osaka, a trip that has taken numerous heirs to Japan over the past few months, Victoria and Daniel traveled to the islands of Naoshima and Teshima in the Japanese interior to participate in the Setouchi Art Triennial and visit museums.
It was there that the couple was able to enjoy more relaxed sightseeing, far removed from their Osaka schedule, sharing photos that are far from typical for an official trip. The couple is enjoying the destination, and the Swedish press reports how Victoria is asking Daniel to stop by to take some photos that will be included in the family album and to send to their two children awaiting them in Stockholm: Princess Estelle, now 13, and Prince Oscar, 9.
However, this was merely a stopover, as the trip, scheduled for October 9-17, continued with an official agenda in Hiroshima with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and in Tokyo, where they will be received by the Ambassador and the Swedish community in Japan.
Starting this Tuesday, the future Queen of Sweden will be in South Korea to meet with Swedish officials serving on the border between North and South Korea.
