In a tulle dress and her hair up in a bun, Charlotte Casiraghi served ballerina vibes at the Paris Opera's opening of the 2025/26 dance season gala. Princess Caroline's older daughter attended the event on Saturday, Sept. 27, at the Opera Garnier in Paris.
The evening kicked off with the Défilé du Ballet and included Annabelle Lopez Ochoa's Requiem for a Rose, performed by the Junior Ballet, and Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot's Giselle.
For the occasion, Charlotte dazzled in a dress from Chanel's Fall-Winter 2024/25 Haute Couture collection. The collection, described as "sophisticated and theatrical," was presented in June of 2024 at the Palais Garnier. The fashion house noted at the time that the venue was a "place of creative freedom very dear to the House" and that the "Haute Couture of CHANEL is a discipline of beauty, patience and excellence, values shared with the Paris national Opera."
Chanel has been a major patron of the Paris Opera since 2023 and a founding patron of the Paris Opera Junior Ballet since 2024. The fashion house designed the tutus and tiaras of the Étoiles along with the costumes of the Paris Opera Junior Ballet’s twelve women dancers for the opening gala on Saturday.
Prince Albert of Monaco's 39-year-old niece has been an ambassador and spokesperson for the French fashion house since 2021. When her role was announced in late 2020, Chanel stated, "Sealing a long relationship based on trust and friendship, started by Karl Lagerfeld and continued today by Virginie Viard, Charlotte Casiraghi will become an ambassador and spokesperson for the House from January 1st 2021."
Charlotte has said in the past that "it’s almost as if" she was "born with Chanel." In a video announcing her appointment as an ambassador and spokesperson for the French house, Grace Kelly's granddaughter said (translated to English): "I think of photos of my mom, when she was pregnant with me. Wonderful photos by Karl Lagerfeld with her wearing Chanel."
