Sheikh Hamdan shared a photo to welcome his baby girl, Hind. The name, which has Arabic roots, means 'lady' or 'noble woman.' It can also refer to someone from India or a woman of noble lineage.

It’s worth remembering that the baby isn’t the Crown Prince of Dubai’s first child. Known as Fazza, he had twins in 2021—a girl and a boy named Sheikha and Rashid. The names honor his mother and grandfather, according to Dubai's media office at the time.

Back then, Hamdan—also known internationally as Hamdan of Dubai—shared the news with a similar photo. He posed sitting down, holding the twins in each arm, wearing the traditional Emirati kandora and a white turban. Behind him was a portrait of his late grandfather, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

That same year, in May, Emir Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan—also known internationally as MBZ and President of the UAE—issued a decree naming his eldest son, Sheikh Khalid, as Crown Prince of the Gulf emirate.
