King Charles reportedly has a new puppy! According to The Sun, His Majesty was gifted Snuff, a lagotto romagnolo, four weeks ago. The puppy is said to have "arrived as a surprise gift." An insider told the outlet, “Charles is besotted with his puppy."

"He hasn’t had one since Tigga. The breed is a truffle-hunter," the insider added, referencing the King's late dog Tigga, who died in 2002. "Charles enjoys mushroom foraging, so they have a lot in common.”

Snuff isn't the only puppy walking around King Charles and Queen Camilla's home. Her Majesty revealed last month that she had rescued a pup. While visiting the Beaney House of Art & Knowledge in Canterbury, the Queen shared that she "just got a new puppy" named Moley. Camilla said, "[She's] looks just like a mole."

Moley was rescued from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, which Her Majesty is patron of. The Queen previously rescued her dogs Bluebell and Beth from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

Beth died last year. Buckingham Palace announced the passing of the Queen's "much-loved companion" on Nov. 18, writing on Instagram: "A sad farewell to Beth, The Queen’s much-loved companion from @Battersea Dogs and Cats Home who brought such joy, whether on walkies, helping on official duties, or curled up by the fire. 🐾."

Following the palace's announcement about Beth, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home wrote on Instagram that they were "very sad to hear" that the Queen's dog had passed away.

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home continued, "Her Majesty, our Patron, rehomed Beth from Battersea in 2011 and we have many fond memories of Beth visiting our centres over the years. Our thoughts are with Their Majesties at this time. We know how difficult it is to lose a beloved pet and Beth was very special indeed. 💙."

PEOPLE reported at the time that it understood that the Queen's dog had an untreatable tumor and had to be put down. Days after Beth's passing, King Charles said that he and Camilla planned on getting a new dog.

Her Majesty is described as a "huge animal lover." When it came to rescuing Beth and Bluebell, the Queen's page on the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home website notes, "It was love at first sight and, as we all feel about our pets, Her Majesty cannot imagine her home, or her sofa, without these colourful characters."
