On March 12, 2025, the Fourth Edition of the América Viva Cultural Gala turned Miami’s Adrienne Arsht Center into a dazzling celebration of Hispanic heritage, bringing together artists, philanthropists, and community leaders into its vibrant embrace.
Organized by New Land Theatricals and proudly supported by ¡HOLA! Américas, the event fused art and music and shared pride in a stunning showcase of American culture—far beyond a simple gathering. The night championed artistic and educational initiatives while honoring organizations driving real impact in the cultural sphere.
The evening hummed with multicultural energy, spotlighting performances like Grammy-winner Aymée Nuviola’s tribute to Celia Cruz, alongside the New Land Dance Company, Miami Children’s Chorus, and the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation Band.
A VIP red carpet, welcome cocktail, and gala ceremony framed the night, drawing a crowd—including Honor Gala Patrons and Co-chairs Ana Teresa Rodríguez, Gaby Negron, and Artistic Director Carolina Lizarraga—bound by their love for Miami’s tight-knit cultural scene.
“We are celebrating the power of art to inspire, transform, and connect us all. Tonight, we’re not Cubans, Colombians, Venezuelans, Puerto Ricans, or Americans—tonight, we’re all Americanos!”

The gala, a grand affair celebrating cultural unity, shone a spotlight on three remarkable organizations, each receiving the prestigious Inca Garcilaso Medal for their work in bridging diverse cultures, with two standout moments weaving into the larger narrative. The medal was presented by José Rafael Fernández Linares, Chancellor at the Consulate of Spain in Miami, who noted, "This medal represents great values such as identity and mestizo reconciliation."
The Celia Cruz Foundation, honoring the 'Queen of Salsa’s' centennial, delivered a heartfelt tribute that enveloped the room in nostalgia, their vibrant rhythms coaxing the crowd to sway as one, a testament to how her timeless music continues to unite generations across borders. Jorge Placencia, Director of the Celia Cruz Foundation, shared his enthusiasm, "We are proud that Celia is being honored with this medal for something so dear to her: art and education."
The Miami Children’s Chorus, under the direction of Liana Salinas, was honored with the prestigious Inca Garcilaso Medal, presented by Luis García, CEO of ADONEL Companies. Salinas commented, "The project serves as a vehicle for young people to explore the marvels of cultural blending."

Loud and Live CEO Nelson Albareda had the honor of presenting the esteemed Inca Garcilaso Medal to Rocky Egusquiza, The Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation, Executive Director, recognizing her outstanding contributions to culture and the arts.
