Tini Stoessel is one of the biggest international pop stars. While you may know her for her reggaeton hits and collaborations with all sorts of A-listers, Tini has a long-spanning career that encompasses music and acting, with it all dating back to her years as one of Disney Channel Latin America's most impactful child stars.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, under the name Martina Alejandra Stoessel Muzlera, Tini began her acting career when she was a kid, with a small part on the hit teen series "Patito Feo." Coming from a family of filmmakers, with her father, Alejandro, being one of Argentina's most prominent TV directors and producers, Tini has been singing and acting for what feels like forever, years before she officially kicked off her career as a solo artist.

“I decided to kick off my musical career when I was 19 years old. Every day I grow more and more, and learning from my colleagues. I really found myself in music and it leads me to the road where I wanted to go.”

In 2012, Stoessel was cast in the lead role in "Violetta," one of Disney Channel Latin America's biggest series. Stoessel played the role of Violetta Castillo for three seasons, following her character as she returns to Buenos Aires after living a few years abroad. The show remains a beloved series for a generation of Latin and European kids, where it was a big success, exploring Violetta's friendships, romances, and her struggles against her father, who didn't want her to pursue a music career. The series resulted in musical tours and movies, preparing Tini for her future as one of Latin America's biggest stars.

In 2016, Tini released her self-titled debut album, featuring songs from "Violetta" and the first songs to come out under her name. The record took her on a tour the following year, with stops in Europe and Latin America. Tini hasn't stopped making music since, releasing a new album every couple of years, including with numerous beloved artists like Maria Becerra, Coldplay, Morat, Alejandro Sanz, Becky G, and more.

Her last record came out in 2024, titled "Un Mechon de pelo." Tini has described the record as her most personal to date, with all of the songs written by her and exploring topics like child stardom, her depression diagnosis, and more.

"It used to cause me so much panic to not say some things. Sometimes, to build the courage to speak, you need time. You need to process. The album explains every point I'm trying to get at."

When it comes to her personal life, Tini has been involved with various notorious figures in the past, including Sebastian Yatra, with whom she collaborated on various songs, and Rodrigo de Paul, the Argentine football player. Tini and de Paul have been involved in an on-and-off relationship since 2021, spending time in Argentina, Spain, and the US, with her attending some of his games and him being spotted at some of her shows.

In October of this year, Tini is scheduled to go on her fourth world tour, titled "Futttura." She's described the tour as her most ambitious yet, involving songs from all of her previous records and exploring her career in all of its forms. As of this writing, the tour has eight dates in Buenos Aires alone, showing just how much the singer is beloved in her home.
