Mariana Treviño's passion for acting is innate. Since she was a young girl, she has been drawn to the performing arts, shining across films, theater productions, and television alike. Born in Monterrey, Mexico. Mariana's determination and desire to shine led her to move to the country's capital in search of better opportunities. When she was 13, she entered the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza of the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes (INBA) to study Contemporary Dance, one of the foundations for her successful and multifaceted path she's taken in the entertainment world.

Years later, Mariana enrolled in the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York, where she specialized in acting. Always looking to refine her talent, she also attended the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston. Back in México, she entered the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at UNAM, where she pursued a degree in English Modern Language and Literature.

Her career was marked by the musical "Mentiras," which served as a significant showcase for producer Manolo Caro to take an interest in her for one of his projects. Though she already had experience in short films and the series "Cásate Conmigo Mi Amor," it was then that she landed the role of Carmela in the movie "No Sé Si Cortarme las Venas o Dejármelas Largas."

"The world is a place where we coincide with people that are very different, but in the end, we're all humans with a soul and a heart."

After participating in "Tercera Llamada" and the miniseries "Alguien Más," Mariana portrayed Shaila in "Amor de Mis Amores" and hasn't stepped away from Mexican film and television since. She also appeared in "Elvira," "Te Daría Mi Vida Pero La Estoy Usando," "Una Última y Nos Vamos," "La Vida Inmoral de la Pareja Ideal," and "Cómo Cortar a tu Patán." However, many recognize her for her role as Isabel Iglesias in the Netflix series "Club de Cuervos."

The public wasn't the only one to notice her talent — thanks to her performance in "La Vida Inmoral de la Pareja Ideal," she was nominated for an Ariel Award for Best Supporting Actress. Additionally, for her work in "El Sueño de Mara'akame," she was also considered for the same awards in the Best Actress in a Minor Role category.

Mariana's career continues to rise. In 2018, she appeared in Eugenio Derbez's film "Overboard." Two years later, she landed her first lead role in a telenovela, playing Ilse Salas in Telemundo's "100 Días Para Enamorarnos," after starring in successful productions like "Narcos: México" and "La Casa de las Flores."

In 2021, she starred in the series "Cecilia." Her role as Marisol led to her working alongside Tom Hanks in "A Man Called Otto."

"I thought I had already said goodbye to Lupita, but we still had things to talk about."

She is currently enjoying the success of the TV adaptation of "Mentiras," a series in which she reunites with her theater character, Lupita Romo. She shares the screen with Diana Bovio, Luis Gerardo Méndez, Regina Blandón, and Belinda. Her projects keep coming — she also recently premiered the series "Stick," alongside Owen Wilson, Judy Greer, and Pete Dager.
