Nadia Tamara Ferreira-Muñiz was born on May 10, 1999, in Villarrica, Guairá, Paraguay. Since she was a child, she showed an interest in modeling and the fashion industry, beginning her career at the age of 13 with the support of her mother and sister. Her first major recognition came in 2015, when she was crowned Miss Teen Universe Paraguay and placed third in the international Miss Teen Universe pageant.
The model worked hard to make her way and stand out among the most beautiful women in Latin America. In addition to being a worthy representative of Paraguay, Nadia speaks fluent Guaraní, the indigenous language of her country.
During her teenage years, Nadia participated in television programs and fashion shows, making her mark in New York Fashion Week in 2017, where she modeled for the brand Custo Barcelona. Her career continued to grow with appearances in international magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and L'Officiel.
Although her story might seem like a fairytale, Nadia faced major challenges from a very young age, which shaped her and helped forge her character. When she was eight months old, she underwent surgery for congenital torticollis. At the age of 10, she was diagnosed with Susac Syndrome, a rare disease that affected her vision, hearing, and mobility. Thanks to timely treatment, tireless discipline, and unshakable faith, she managed to overcome it.
“It was difficult, but I believe faith is important. My family never lost it. My mother, my sister, and I kept the faith. I would tell myself: ‘I’m going to be okay.’ I was eleven, and it was hard for my family. But that experience made me the strong woman I am today.”
In 2021, she was crowned Miss Universe Paraguay and represented her country in that year’s pageant, held in Israel, where she was selected as the first runner-up, a historic milestone for Paraguay. Although she didn’t take home the crown, Nadia gained many opportunities and found love.
In 2022, her relationship with Marc Anthony became public, and a year later, on January 28, 2023, they celebrated a romantic wedding at the Pérez Art Museum in Miami, with guests like David Beckham, Salma Hayek, Luis Fonsi, Maluma, Vin Diesel, and more. The wedding was dubbed "the wedding of the year," and ¡HOLA! had exclusive access. In June 2023, the couple welcomed their first child together, little Marco, affectionately called “Marquitos.”
In 2025, the beauty queen took advantage of her increased media exposure, taking on a new role as a presenter. At the most recent edition of Premio Lo Nuestro, Nadia served as a host, demonstrating her command in front of the camera, the audience, and the microphone. In addition, the Paraguayan is preparing to launch her career as a singer, a project that excites her.
“Being a singer is a dream I’ve had all my life, and my inspiration and best teacher is my husband—and, of course, all the people I’ve been surrounded with, who give me lots of advice when it comes to music. So I’m very happy to be working on this."
In May, Nadia made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival, attending the 78th edition of the prestigious event for the first time. In an exclusive with ¡HOLA!, the model shared her excitement for this milestone in her professional life.
“It’s an incredible honor to be at the Cannes International Film Festival for the first time. This wonderful event brings together some of the most inspiring talents in the world.”
Over the summer, she launched her first fragrance, called DAMA. According to her, the perfume is an “invitation to discover the essence” of each person.
She is the face of renowned brands such as Alo (activewear), and she is also an ambassador for the luxury watch brand Bulova. As for her philanthropic work, Nadia supports causes close to her heart and is an active collaborator with the Maestro Cares Foundation, which is chaired by her husband and the businessman Henry Cárdenas.
