Born to a Mexican father and Danish mother, Loreto was born on June 9, 2004, in Miami, Florida. She’s the older sister of musician Carlos Peralta. Raised in Mexico, she stood out from an early age due to her outgoing personality and her desire to appear on the big screen, which led her mom to take her to the casting call Eugenio Derbez posted on Twitter, now X.

Originally, the director was looking for a boy, but after not finding the right one, he decided that a blue-eyed girl who spoke both English and Spanish could be perfect to play Maggie. And he was right.

“Since I was little, I would sing to my parents, play pretend with my friends like we were actresses, and I thought, ‘This is amazing.’ So one day, while walking with my dad, I asked him: ‘How can I get on the screen?’”

Loreto gave an outstanding performance in the film, and her charm helped the project become one of the most beloved Latin productions in cinemas over the past decade. At the same time, it opened doors for Loreto in the world of acting, launching her as the next big star. It's an opportunity that she has embraced wisely.

In 2014, Loreto starred in "The Prophet," produced by Salma Hayek. She also voiced Gabby in the animated film "Guardians of Oz." She returned to the screen on 2018, this time as Elle in "The Little Mermaid." She also won over a whole new generation with the romantic comedy "All the Freckles in the World." That same year, Loreto made her modeling debut, walking the runway for designer Raquel Orozco, wearing the Fall-Winter collection titled "Restauración."

Despite her busy work schedule, Loreto continued her education, paying special attention to developing her acting technique. Over time, she began to shine in more mature roles, being featured on "War of Likes" and "You Are My Problem." Now, at the age of 21, Loreto has established herself on television, appearing as Rosita on Netflix’s hit series "The House of Flowers."

“In college, I’d like to study screenwriting. I also want to support social causes. I admire Leonardo DiCaprio, who uses his fame to help others.”

Loreto has also become one of our favorite fashion it-girls. Since her debut at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024, where she wore a stunning Rami Kadi dress adorned with hundreds of crystals, to her most recent appearance in Fashion Week Paris, where she attended shows like Mugler and Giambattista Valli, Loreto knows how to leave a group of onlookers wowed. Her audacious and striking outfits have become a part of her brand. While on social media, the actress tends to wear more discreet and comfortable looks, she has a clear preference for shiny elements, often wearing gorgeous jewelry to round out a look.

Loreto has often expressed pride in her Mexican roots. Although she was born in the U.S., she holds Mexican nationality and treasures her life in the country, where her father and grandfather are well-known businessmen.

With grace, beauty, style, and confidence, Loreto has worked for a place in the worlds of film, television, and modeling. Her talent has landed her on the covers of prestigious magazines, setting trends and leaving everyone wondering the project where she’ll shine next.
