Born in 1987 in Entre Ríos, Argentina, Carla Pereyra left South America at the age of 17 to pursue her dreams in the fashion industry. She began her career early, working in cities like Milan and collaborating with prestigious brands such as Alberta Ferretti and Max Mara.

After wrapping up her work in Italy, Carla moved to Spain, drawn by its culture and new professional opportunities. It was there that she leaped into the spotlight by appearing on the reality show "Supervivientes: perdidos en Nicaragua" in 2010, a role that catapulted her into fame.

Through the years, she lived in different places, including New York, where she worked in the art world from 2011 to 2013 at the gallery of acclaimed collector and gallerist Lio Malca. In 2013, shortly after returning to Spain, she met Diego Pablo Simeone, coach of Atlético de Madrid, in a chance encounter at a restaurant. Since that day, the two have been inseparable.

“I work for our family, for the family’s assets. We have a company with more than 150 properties now, between rooms and apartments. We’re growing at a very good pace, and that takes a lot of energy. I feel very proud, because I’m becoming the Carla I want to be, and that gives me peace.”

Five years later, proving they were meant to be, Carla and Diego married in two ceremonies: one in Buenos Aires surrounded by close loved ones, and the other in Italy, a dreamy celebration in the Tuscan countryside. Together, they have two daughters, Francesca and Valentina, and with Diego’s older sons from a previous relationship, they form a modern family of seven.

Alongside her role as a devoted mother, Carla is the CEO of My Location, a company focused on purchasing, renovating, and selling properties in Madrid. Her interest in construction runs deep; it’s in her DNA, she said in an interview with ¡HOLA! España.

While she didn’t follow her father and grandfather’s exact career path, Carla built her own version of success in their field. “You could say I have a more artistic side, but I also went to a technical school. I completed up to the fifth year in Construction, what they called ‘master builder’ there, or ‘technical expert’ here in Spain. That’s why I know how to read blueprints and that sort of thing. Those skills stay with you," she said.

“My grandfather was an architect, and my family has always been in this business. My father designed our house in Buenos Aires himself."

One of Carla’s biggest passions is helping and supporting women. She recently inaugurated Casa de Calma, located in Madrid’s Chamberí district. The center is dedicated to offering emotional support to women at their most vulnerable moments, providing a safe, respectful environment in workshops and conferences that share practical tools they can use to lead better lives.

In addition to her real estate ventures, Carla also works with high-end furniture brands and maintains an active role as an ambassador for the Atlético de Madrid Foundation, leading social impact initiatives through sport.

Over the years, Carla Pereyra has seamlessly blended her life as a model and entrepreneur with a public image grounded in style, elegance, and purpose, always showcasing a strong commitment to social causes and community.
