Olivia Rodrigo has signalled a softer new fashion era as she stepped out in a sparkling, jewel-embellished mini-dress, a sharp shift from the punk-inspired stage style that defined her GUTS tour. The delicate look immediately recast her in a more romantic, fashion-forward light.
The 22-year-old pop star revealed the look as part of a major new fashion campaign, marking a clear move away from the combat boots, leather and fishnets that became her signature on stage. She appeared almost unrecognisable in the delicate outfit, which featured a high neckline, long sleeves and a babydoll silhouette.
Pale pink florals were painted across the white base of the dress, while a statement bib-style panel was adorned with red and white crystals and oversized ruby-like gemstones. The campaign is placing her firmly among fashion’s most in-demand young stars and is a turning point in her style evolution.
The shoot photographer, Jamie Hawkesworth, leaned into a romantic, vintage-inspired aesthetic, in notable contrast to the hard-edged looks she wore night after night on stage throughout 2024. The bejewelled mini-dress was one of several outfits showcased, alongside a second look that blended preppy and utilitarian elements.
Olivia layered the cropped knitwear over a collared shirt designed to resemble an apron, paired with slouchy black trousers worn low on the hips, revealing a signature exposed waistband detail. She also kept her accessories deliberately practical, balancing polish with ease. Her latest look was revealed when Miu Miu unveiled its Spring/Summer 2026 campaign titled ‘On Cloud Nine’.
Away from fashion, Rodrigo has also embraced personal change in recent months, starting with a dramatic haircut following the end of her world tour. Speaking with Vogue, the Grammy winner explained the decision, saying, “I feel like a brand new girl. I had really long hair while on tour, and it was hard to take care of. I wanted to shed the dead ends, so I chopped them off. It’s time for new beginnings.”
The singer has also taken on a new beauty role, becoming the face of a major skincare brand, a moment she described as deeply nostalgic. She said, “I remember rifling through my mom’s makeup bag and seeing Lancôme skincare in there. The serum was one of the first things I put on my face, before I really did skincare.”
