For a seasonal gathering, Vergara wore a coordinated two-piece in warm brown tones. The outfit paired a racerback tank with a pencil skirt that floated above her ankle with a sheer tulle hem. Chunky gold hoops, a necklace, and sparkly silver criss-cross pumps added just enough glamour without overwhelming the look.
She kept her hair straight with a middle part and leaned into a bronze and mauve smoky eye, winged liner, rosy blush, mauve lipstick, and a sparkly white manicure.
The star’s Thanksgiving festivities were also a family affair. Vergara’s 34-year-old son, Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, appeared in her holiday post, posing alongside her and the rest of their family. “Like most women, there was a point when I felt nervous about getting older, but with time, I realized it wasn't something to fear, it's a privilege, it's new to me.” She also spoke about prioritizing both emotional and physical care, saying aging “means celebrating taking care of my skin, my body, and my spirit.”
Vergara has always been admired for her candor, especially among Latinas who grew up absorbing quietly strict beauty expectations. She noted cultural pressures highlighted in a 2024 Pew Research Center report, which found that 71 percent of Latinas ages 18 to 29 feel pressure to “be beautiful.”
However, she insists that beauty must feel personal, not prescriptive. “Latina women love beauty and take pride in putting in the effort to look and feel our best,” she said. “Being transparent about what I do helps take away the mystery around it, and it shows that looking good and feeling good takes effort, and that's OK,” she said. “I'd rather be real about what works for me than set unrealistic beauty standards.”
