Melania Trump stepped out in a casual look during a somber outing to Texas, stepping out in a relaxed yet sharply curated ensemble. Walking alongside President Donald Trump on the South Lawn of the White House, Melania combined earthy neutrals and practical tailoring.
Her look was polished and consisted of a tailored khaki field jacket, complete with structured lapels, and flap pockets that nodded to a military silhouette. The jacket’s cinched waist added subtle structure, highlighting her figure.
Melania wore a muted olive green tee, keeping the color palette cohesive and grounded. She paired the jacket with slim olive cargo pants and completed the look with a pair of classic gray Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars.
The sneakers brought a youthful energy to her composed outfit. Her signature honey-blonde waves fell softly around her shoulders, and she shielded her eyes behind oversized tortoiseshell sunglasses. There was no visible jewelry and no flashy embellishments.
As cameras captured the couple boarding Marine One en route to flood-ravaged Kerrville, Texas, the president briefly put his arm around Melania, who remained calm and composed as they prepared to meet with grieving families and local officials.
Melania also took a moment to greet and hug supporters before entering the aircraft. The visit followed devastating flash floods that claimed more than 120 lives, including 27 children and counselors at Camp Mystic.
“It's a terrible thing, but we're going to be there with some of the great families and others, the governor, everybody,” President Trump said as they departed.
After the Texas stop, the Trumps are expected to travel to Bedminster, New Jersey, for a weekend at Trump National Golf Club. On Sunday, they will quietly observe the first anniversary of the assassination attempt on the former president, followed by an appearance at the Club World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium.
