Eiza González gave the sheer dress trend a dazzling upgrade on Tuesday night, making a grand entrance in a revealing look, stepping into London’s Serpentine Gallery Summer Party in a stunning gown featuring a sculptural design and gold accents.
The Mexican actress, who is also known for her jaw-dropping fashion moments, posed in a floor-length, fully transparent black gown by British designer Harris Reed. Hand-painted streaks of gold leaf traced her body, adding a goddess-like shimmer to the silhouette.
“The world is in a tough spot right now and especially the creative [spaces]. So for me, I really used that as fuel to come out with pieces that were really about putting the internal on the external,” Reed said of his fall 2025 collection, which debuted in February at London Fashion Week.
Eiza’s gown came straight from that same collection and was styled by longtime collaborator Elizabeth Saltzman. The sheer piece featured a high neckline, short angular sleeves, and a subtle mermaid-style skirt. But it was the body-hugging transparency and gold detailing, including a swirl above the navel, that made the look artistic and sensual.
The back view was even bolder, with Eiza wearing nothing but a black thong, clearly visible through the fabric. She styled her signature brunette hair in loose waves and rocked dewy makeup by Francesca Abrahamovitch, finished with a coral lip.
The actress joined a star-studded list of celebrities and A-List stars at the Kensington Gardens to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Serpentine Pavilion. Cate Blanchett co-hosted the gathering, with Alicia Vikander, Georgia May Jagger, and Kelly Osbourne also in attendance.
Eiza continues the sheer dress trend after Rome outing:
This isn’t Eiza’s first sheer moment this season. Just weeks ago, she turned heads at Dior’s Cruise 2025 show in Rome, arriving in a toga-inspired gown that nodded to the city’s classical past.
The see-through look was a modern take on ancient elegance, soft, draped, and goddess-coded, paired perfectly with her signature glow and loose waves.
