Melania Trump made a statement in the Rose Garden on Monday. The First Lady was photographed at the White House wearing a stylish ensemble while advocating for an important matter. Melania was all smiles, stepping out in a chic gray look and speaking at the podium.

Standing beside President Donald Trump at the signing ceremony for the Take It Down Act, the First Lady stepped into a formal role rarely seen before, co-signing the landmark bipartisan bill aimed at curbing online exploitation and the misuse of deepfake technology.

Wearing a sharply tailored gray Prada skirt suit featuring a plaid finish, Melania was all business in a look that echoed classic menswear influences while embracing her signature elegance.

The double-breasted ensemble, previously worn for a European photo shoot, was styled with Christian Louboutin's iconic So Kate pumps. Her stylist, Hervé Pierre, confirmed the Prada suit was pulled from the First Lady’s own wardrobe, purchased from the brand’s Madison Avenue boutique.

The Take It Down Act, which is short for Tools to Address Known Exploitation by Immobilizing Technological Deepfakes on Websites and Networks, targets the non-consensual sharing of intimate images, including AI-generated fakes.

Melania had lobbied for the bill earlier this year, traveling to Capitol Hill and appearing alongside Senator Ted Cruz in a tan pantsuit and a crisp white shirt paired with a dark necktie and nude heels.

Melania made headlines for her elegant suit, with her hair styled in loose waves, and rocking a neutral makeup look, including her signature smoky eye and a matte pink lip.

This was Melania's first solo public appearance since returning to her role as First Lady following the presidential inauguration. Melania urged Congress to pass the Take It Down Act, attending a roundtable to discuss the posting of intimate imagery online without an individual’s consent, intending to make it a federal crime.
