The first daughter and businesswoman has been inspired by Blake Lively's jaw-dropping fashion moments in the fan-favorite series over the years, as this is the second time she has decided to wear one of the stylish looks worn by Blake's character, Serena Van Der Woodsen.
Fans of the actress remember Serena for having an exquisite sense of style, which is very similar to Blake. The actress played a famous socialite who spent her time in New York City and was involved in multiple dramatic moments.
Despite the series being released in 2007, new audiences are finding the show and a new generation is becoming fans of the characters. Ivanka first paid homage to the series in 2010 when she wore the same blue Carolina Herrera that Blake Lively wore in season 1.
For many, Ivanka has been the real-life Serena. She wore the dress at the 9th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation's 'An Enduring Vision' benefit at Cipriani on Wall Street, pairing the look with drop earrings and styling her signature blonde hair straight.
Now, Ivanka has worn a second ensemble that pays homage to the series. Over the weekend, Ivanka posed in a gold-and-black sequined bodycon dress featuring mesh detailing by Peter Pilotto, which appeared in the designer's Fall 2012 Ready to Wear Collection.
The halter dress also featured a criss-cross cutout and floral beading at the hemline. Ivanka paired the look with black heeled sandals and drop earrings. Ivanka styled her hair just like Blake in the series, showing off her ponytail hairstyle and a glamorous makeup look, including a subtle smokey eye and a matte pink lip.
Ivanka was all smiles sharing the photos on social media and documenting her time in NYC. The businesswoman is splitting her time between New York, Washington D.C., and Florida, as she continues to focus on her family while supporting her dad Donald Trump during his presidency.
