The 2026 GRAMMYS are just days away, airing Sunday, February 1, with 95 categories honoring music across Latin, hip hop, jazz, classical, rock, and more. As Latin music continues to dominate the global scene, this year’s nominations reflect just how deeply Latino artists are shaping the sound of today.
Leading the pack is Bad Bunny, who earned six nominations and continues to make history as the first Spanish-language artist nominated in all three of the Grammys’ “Big Three” categories: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. He’s also up for Best Música Urbana Album, Best Album Cover, and Best Global Music Performance.
Bruno Mars, who has Puerto Rican roots, received three nominations for his collaboration with Rosé on “APT,", continuing his long-standing run as one of the Grammys’ most decorated artists.
Meanwhile, The Marías are bringing la cultura to the Best New Artist race. The bilingual band is led by Puerto Rican–born María Zardoya, alongside drummer and producer Josh Conway, guitarist Jesse Perlman, and keyboardist Edward Jamee. In addition to Best New Artist, the group is also nominated in major categories, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
