The highly anticipated 83rd Annual Golden Globe Awards are set for this Sunday, January 11, 2026. Hosted by Nikki Glaser, the prestigious evening includes 28 award categories, featuring six nominees, except Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, which will have eight. You still have time to watch some of the movies and tv shows dominating this season. Here's where to watch the major nominees below.

One Battle After Another — 9 nominations 

Paul Thomas Anderson’s genre-bending comedy follows an ex-revolutionary pulled back into chaos when a corrupt officer threatens his family. It leads this year’s nominations across directing, acting, screenplay, and score. 

Where to watch: In theaters now or streaming on HBO MAX, and all other major streaming platforms like YouTube, Google Play, Apple TV, Fandango, and Amazon Prime. 

Sentimental Value — 8 nominations 

A layered family drama that explores memory, art, and generational tension, anchored by deeply emotional performances.

Sinners — 7 nominations 

A bold horror-drama centered on twin brothers confronting a supernatural threat in Mississippi, blending social commentary with high tension.

 Where to watch: In theaters now or stream on HBO Max and all other major streaming platforms like YouTube, Google Play, Apple TV, Fandango, and Prime Video. 

Hamnet — 6 nominations 

Set in 16th-century England, the film tells a story about Shakespeare’s grief after losing his son, which inspired one of his most famous works. 

Where to watch: Limited theatrical release.

Wicked: For Good — 5 nominations 

The musical event continues, with the Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba, living in exile in the Ozian forest and Glinda at the palace in Emerald City.

It Was Just an Accident — 4 nominations 

An international political drama set in Iran, where a man bumps into the man he believes to be his former torturer.

Only Murders in the Building — 4 nominations 

The beloved mystery-comedy follows three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one.

Severance — 4 nominations 

A chilling workplace thriller where employees separate their work and personal memories - with unsettling consequences.

An intense, emotional look at a family running a restaurant while barely holding it together.
