In a candid and heartwarming moment after the 74th Miss Universe pageant, Miss Venezuela Stephany Adriana Abasali Nasser revealed she had a strong sense that Miss Mexico, Fátima Bosch, would take home the crown.
“I knew it,” Abasali shared. “She had done it incredibly well. I told her I was really happy, and just before the final results, I said to her, ‘Whoever goes to the top invites the other to vacation in their country.’ So a trip to Mexico is now pending.” Abasali went on to share how grateful she was for the experience after en emotional journey in Thailand.

Bosch, 25, officially became Miss Universe 2025 after competing against 130 contestants at the Impact Arena in Pak Kret, Thailand. Her performances in the swimsuit, evening gown, and national costume segments, as well as private interviews with judges, showcased her poise, intelligence, and charisma, earning her the coveted crown.
Following her coronation, Fátima Bosch spoke with Telemundo in her first interview as Miss Universe 2025, saying, “This crown is a commitment.” She also explained her choice to wear a red gown for the final moment of the pageant, noting that previous Mexican winners had also worn red, a color that symbolizes passion, strength, and national pride.
The Top 5 finalists included Miss Venezuela Stephany Abasali, Miss Philippines Ahtisa Manalo, Miss Thailand Praveenar Singh, and Miss Côte d’Ivoire Olivia Yacé. While Bosch took the top prize, Abasali earned the title of Miss Universe Americas, proudly representing her country on the continental stage.
