The countdown is on for Miss Universe 2025, set to take place on November 21 in Thailand. The reigning queen, Denmark’s Victoria Kjær Theilvig, will pass on her crown, and there are stunning Latinas that are beginning to be chosen to represent their countries to take the crown.

Representing their countries with pride, these women are more than just beauty and glam. They’re accomplished, multilingual, and fiercely determined to take home the title at the 74th edition of the pageant. From seasoned models to dental surgeons and political science grads, here’s a look at some of the Latinas heading to Miss Universe 2025.

Meet some of the Latina candidates for Miss Universe 2025

Mirna Caballini – Miss Universe Panama

At just 22, Mirna is a triple-threat who speaks Spanish, English, and Italian. Her résumé includes fashion design, modeling, acting, singing, decorating, and event planning. In other words: she’s ready for anything.

 Aldana Masset – Miss Universe Argentina 

A model, singer, and image consultant from Entre Ríos, Aldana is 25 and ready to make her mark in Thailand. She’s bringing fire and focus to the competition.

Raschel Paz – Miss Universe Guatemala

With a degree in political science and international relations, Raschel is also a pro model. At 24, she speaks Spanish, English, and German - and she’s bringing brains, beauty, and diplomacy to the stage.

Lina Luaces – Miss Universe Cuba 

You might know her famous mom, TV host Lili Estefan, but Lina is ready to step out of the spotlight and into her own. She’s only the second Cuban candidate in 63 years to compete at Miss Universe - and she’s making history her own way.

Mahyla Roth – Miss Universe Costa Rica

Fluent in Spanish, English, and Swiss-German, Mahyla has been competing in pageants since she was 8. Now 26, she’s already been on magazine covers and is signed with a modeling agency in Switzerland. She's a beauty with an equally amazing personality.

Gabriela Lacerda – Miss Universe Brazil 

A 24-year-old journalist deeply connected to her roots, Gabriela is aiming to go further than Brazil’s last big contender, Julia Gama, who came in as first runner-up in 2020.

Yessica Hausermann – Miss Universe Bolivia

She’s got the elegance and the black belt to match. At 25, Yessica is a dentist and taekwondo black belt with Swiss heritage. Her charisma helped her win over the judges, and now, she’s eyeing the universe.

Alejandra Fuentes – Miss Universe Honduras 

At 31, Alejandra is one of the most experienced contenders this year. She holds a degree in international relations from the Central American Technological University (UNITEC) in Honduras, is passionate about social causes, and was crowned by none other than Victoria Kjær Theilvig herself.

Karla Bacigalupo – Miss Universe Peru

At 33, Karla is no stranger to the spotlight - or the controversy surrounding her LA residency. But the Peruvian beauty is standing firm in her pride. She’s studying acting and production, works in sales and admin, and proudly shared that she’s married - and fully supported by her partner.
