With the 2025 Oscars just days away on Sunday, March 2, movie fans are eagerly waiting to see who will take home a coveted award. With bloggers, critics, and netizens making predictions, astrology has also entered the chat to give us a glimpse of who might take home the coveted golden statue. Laura Gamboa, from Cosmo Lau, has shared her predictions using the stars' help.

Zoe has been sweeping this awards season

The stars have spoken, and for the nominees, the cosmos marks moments of great challenges and opportunities. Starting with Zoë Saldaña, the Gemini seems to have everything to win Best Supporting Actress.

According to Gamboa, her current planetary alignments predict a phase of manifestation. However, Saturn, the great teacher, indicates that recognition will bring her greater challenges in her professional life. So hopefully, there is no “Oscar curse” that will play a part in her career if she wins.

Monica Barbaro

Meanwhile, Cancer Ariana Grande, Libra Felicity Jones, Geminis Isabella Rossellini, and Monica Barbaro are most likely to come away empty-handed. Barbaro, who is experiencing a Jupiter return and a love story with Andrew Garfield, should remain in the spotlight, especially with her new role as a Dior ambassador.

Kieran Culkin

In the Best Supporting Actor category, Kieran Culkin, who is very open about how little he believes in astrology, is almost destined for victory, with his Libra Sun receiving powerful trines from Jupiter. This win will likely open even more doors for him, with unexpected changes in his life and career for the next 3–4 years thanks to a Uranus opposition. The planet predicts revolutions that this eccentric actor will surely know how to use to his advantage.

Libra Guy Pearce, Sagittarius Yura Borisov, Leo Edward Norton, and Capricorn Jeremy Strong will likely have to settle for a nomination this year. But Gamboa sees Strong as having a period of incredible opportunities.

Demi Moore

The race for Best Actress is highly competitive, but Scorpio Demi Moore seems to be the favorite. With a favorable aspect between Mars and Saturn, she appears to be on the path to well-deserved recognition for The Substance. She opened the awards season with an auspicious aspect of Venus (symbol of awards) on Jupiter (the planet of good fortune).

Mikey Madison

However, Aries Mikey Madison shouldn’t be underestimated, as on the day of the ceremony, she will have the same aspect Demi had at the Golden Globes—Venus over her Jupiter—which could take her by surprise.

Adrien Brody

Lastly, in Best Actor, Aries Adrien Brody may continue to dominate, and everything indicates that he will win his second Oscar. In Brody's chart, Jupiter, the planet of notoriety, is sailing high above, predicting that the actor has the spotlight and good chances of recognition. However, Saturn, which represents restriction and transits at a difficult angle, could symbolize a fall after excessive confidence and optimism.

Timothee Chalamet

Capricorn Timothée Chalamet also has a promising path. He is amid his Saturn return, indicating a stage in which maturity and a sense of work must be strengthened. But after years of hard work, the Oscar could be his reward. However, losing this year might actually motivate him to keep chasing the "greatness" he spoke about during his SAG Awards acceptance speech.

Some say Ralph Fiennes could be a surprise for his role in Conclave, but the Capricorn has a complicated aspect to his Venus, which does not bode well for him. Sagittarian Colman Domingo and Leo Sebastian Stan may also have to settle for the nomination, according to the stars.
