Fans are convinced Zayn Malik just threw subtle shade at Harry Styles this week during a show in Las Vegas. It's long been speculated that Malik and Styles have drama, with Malik even admitting in the past that they don't have a relationship.
Styles announced a global Together, Together tour in 2026, but the prices of the tickets have sparked major backlash. The presale queue had hundreds of thousands waiting, only to be shocked to see how much they cost.
This week, in a clip posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, Malik thanked the crowd at his residency show for showing up, “You could have been anywhere, but you decided to spend your night with me," he told the crowd. Then came the maybe shade, “Hopefully, the ticket prices weren’t too high. Just saying.”
Fans immediately took it as shade to Styles. However, Styles' fans aren't taking the shade lightly. Some were quick to point out that Malik’s own Vegas residency previously listed tickets reportedly topping $1,000 before later dropping significantly on resale.
“Okay, now people are blessing him as he cares about his fans when he literally raised the prices and only lowered them because they weren’t selling. I’m crying," one person responded on X.
Others said they didn't think it was shade at all, and Malik was just alluding to the previous prices of his tickets.
Malik has opened up about his relationship with Styles in the past, telling Us Weekly in 2017, "To be honest, I never really spoke to Harry even when I was in the band. So I didn't really expect that much of a relationship with him."
While Malik takes the stage in Vegas, Harry is set to present at the upcoming Grammys, a full-circle moment for an artist who won Best Pop Solo Performance in 2021 for “Watermelon Sugar,” then dominated again in 2023 with Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Harry’s House.
His next album is Kiss All the Time. Disco, occasionally, is slated for March 6. His new single “Aperture” pulled over 12 million YouTube views in just four days.

For the UK leg at Wembley Stadium, tickets initially appeared reasonable, with seated options starting around $60.80- but prices reportedly surged as high as $642.76, leaving fans furious after waiting hours in queues.
Across social media, screenshots circulated showing lower-bowl seats jumping to $800, $900, even $1,000.
Fans didn’t hold back. One Tweeted, “Hey @Harry_Styles, as someone who’s loved you for almost 14 years and went to all the tours, I’m at a loss for words over how much you/ur team seem to have lost touch with reality in terms of residency shows and ticket prices. Music should be accessible. Remember how you started.”
Others were even harsher, calling out industry practices and artist accountability: “friendly reminder that artists can disable platinum pricing, implement face value ticket exchange, and have a say in their own pricing! Harry Styles you’re a greedy ass b***h.”
“Harry Styles, I want you to stand in the pit and not let anyone walk in unless they hand you $1200 in cash. Look every fan in the eye and ask them for $1200,” another added.
According to Ticketmaster messaging during presale, fans were notified that ticket prices, ranging from $50 to $1,182.40, were set in advance by the tour and would not change during presale or onsale.
Styles’ last tour, Love On Tour, grossed over $600 million globally.
