Kendall Jenner had a big surprise for Tom Brady. In a recent appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Jenner shared her thoughts on the Super Bowl, giving a surprise phone call to one of the world's leading football experts.
In the episode, Jenner and Fallon were discussing the Super Bowl, taking place this February 8th. Fallon asked Jenner about her predictions for this year's game, which has the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks squaring off for the title.
“Can I phone a friend? I brought my phone if I could,” Jenner asked Fallon. After getting the approval, she Facetimed someone. “Hi! How you doing?” asked the voice. “What you up to?”
“Not much, I’m just here Jimmy and some friends,” said Jenner, turning the camera and showing Brady to a shocked Fallon and his audience.
“Sorry to do this to you,” said Jenner, handing her phone to Fallon. Jenner told Brady that she wanted to make an informed decision on who she's rooting for in the Super Bowl. "And I was thinking you’re the perfect person to ask that information," she said.
"I hope I am,” said Brady, prompting laughs from the audience. Not only is Brady one of the most successful quarterbacks of all time, he's also one of the biggest figures for the New England Patriots, taking the team to the Super Bowl 9 times.
He played for the Patriots from 2000 to 2019, resulting in six Super Bowl wins. He has the record for most Super Bowl appearances of any NFL player. Following his successful years with the Patriots, Brady played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, taking them to the 2020 Super Bowl. He won that time too.
In his FaceTime with Jenner, Brady informed her and the audience about his predictions, going into detail on both teams, sharing some key players, stats, and performances. Jenner nodded along to his words. After he hung up, Fallon turned to Jenner. “Kendall, did you get all that?” he asked.
"No," she said, laughing. You can check out the full exchange below.
This year's Super Bowl
This year's Super Bowl will take place in Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. While the Patriots are looking for their seventh Super Bowl, the Seahawks are looking for their fourth, with their most recent win taking place in the year 2013.
Another interesting Jenner link this year is the fact that her ex, Bad Bunny, is headlining the halftime show.
