Ricky Martin became a father 17 years ago. His eldest children, twins Valentino and Matteo, have grown into confident young men, turning heads with their artistic and athletic skills. While one brother keeps a lower profile, Valentino, called Tino by his loved ones, has an active social media profile, often sharing his interests, which include anime, and a look at his daily life. In a recent post, the twins left viewers impressed by showcasing their agility and strength in a complex discipline.
On January 27, Tino shared an Instagram Story featuring both brothers in action. In the clip, Tino launches into an aerial flip, landing smoothly on a lower, padded level. In one fluid sequence, he continues rolling across the floor before springing back to his feet.
Moments later, Matteo takes his turn, mirroring the same movements with his own style. Dressed in black shorts, a gray T-shirt, and a beanie, he demonstrates equal power, speed, and control through a series of flips.
Tino didn’t add a caption, but he tagged his brother, whose account remains private, and mentioned Reed Mayer, who describes himself as a movement artist and stunt performer.
This isn’t the first time Tino has shown off his jumps and flips. For the past two years, he’s been sharing his progress in gymnastics. “I don’t even know what’s happening at this point!” he joked in the summer of 2024 while posting a video of his impressive moves. Proud dad Martin quickly chimed in at the time, writing, “So proud of you, my son! I love you. So proud of you, Valentino.”
Beyond acrobatics, the twins also enjoy outdoor activities, including surfing, another passion that they share with their father. A few years ago, Martin posted photos of the boys taking surf lessons on Malibu beaches with instructor Aleks Pevec.
Tino and Matteo’s close relationship with their father
Ricky Martin has spoken openly about his relationship with Tino and Matteo, revealing that they often travel with him as he fulfills work commitments around the world.
“It’s wonderful; they don’t want to stay behind. They’re with me all the time,” he said in a March 2024 interview on "Despierta América". “When I go on tour, they come with me. We have tutors who travel with us, too. After the pandemic, Zoom has helped a lot.”
He also highlighted the close nature of their family. “I like that we’re so connected, that they ask all the questions they need to ask, and that the answers are honest and transparent,” he said, including his younger children, Lucía and Renn, whom he shares with his ex-husband Jwan Yosef.
“I have the energy, we’re healthy—and everything feels wonderful.”
