If short hair has been having its moment, Halle Berry might just be ready to change the game. While the bob has ruled as the It-girl haircut for years, it seems Hollywood is ready for a different hairstyle.

The actress was spotted at Paris’ Gare du Nord train station alongside her partner, musician Van Hunt, on Monday, sporting noticeably longer locks than the chin-grazing wavy bob she had been wearing since New Year’s Eve.

Her honey-brown strands, tucked into a chic Parisian scarf, hit well past her clavicle, hinting at a possible return to the layered shag she rocked in the spring of 2025.

She arrived in Paris for Couture Fashion Week makeup-free, effortlessly Parisian in jeans, black boots, a gray wool coat, and a ruffled scarf. Her long curtain bangs and textured layers made her look effortlessly sophisticated.

Halle Berry first debuted her textured bob in July 2024, maintaining the cropped, blunt cut for over a year. Now, she’s opted for soft, gold-tinted waves and messy, eyebrow-grazing bangs, signaling a subtle but striking shift.

Van Hunt, her partner of five years, complemented her look in a greige wool hat and a green jacket, proving that couple-style goals are very much a thing.

This Parisian moment follows a sun-soaked year for Berry. In October 2025, she and Hunt vacationed in Bora Bora, and they celebrated her 59th birthday on another tropical getaway.

In December, she shared a makeup-free selfie from bed, showcasing her natural curls in a side-parted lob and golden highlights, all while promoting a book that shaped her craft, 'The Power of the Actor' by Ivana Chubbuck.

She captioned the post. "I'm excited to share with you one of my absolute favorite books of the past 20 years. The Power of the Actor by @ivanachubbuckstudio is a must-read for any aspiring and working actor or anyone who dares to live life more fully by expressing themselves more clearly."

She continued,"Ivana has been one of my acting teachers for 2 decades, who has inspired me to constantly challenge myself, be fearless in my choices, and to strive to reach higher than I ever thought I could. It's her brilliance and our work together that led me to my historic Oscar win!"

Halle Berry became the first, and still only, Black woman to win the Academy Award for Best Actress for Monster’s Ball (2001). She has candidly reflected on the limitations that followed her success.

In 2021, she said,"I was very disheartened after winning that gorgeous guy. I was sure the script truck would just back itself up to my front door. That’s what I thought would happen. Like: now I’m going to get all the great parts. But unfortunately for me, that was not my reality. I’ve been continuing to try to make ways for myself. Because it’s hard. I don’t often find great parts that I really, really love to sink my teeth into."
