The Silver Gown that defined Melania’s New Year’s Eve look

The Manu Sequin Maxi Dress by The New Arrivals (Ilkyaz Ozel) featured a long, sculptural silhouette finished in high-polish metallic sequins. It turned every flash into a spotlight, while the fitted cut delivered the look’s core statement. The result channeled Old Hollywood glamour, streamlined for a modern luxury gala and made for the camera.

Inside the Mar-a-Lago New Year’s Eve celebration

Beyond fashion, the night once again confirmed Mar-a-Lago’s role as a hub of social spectacle. President Donald Trump and Melania Trump hosted their annual New Year’s Eve celebration in Palm Beach, Florida, bringing together high-profile guests, discreet political conversation, and the refined atmosphere of a private club.

Barron Trump, 19, attended alongside his parents, a rare family detail that registered quietly within an otherwise tightly curated setting.

Meanwhile, the White House marked the occasion with special lighting of the Washington Monument to launch celebrations for the United States’ 250th anniversary, though there was no in-person New Year’s event hosted by Trump there.

Live Art and a multimillion-dollar charity moment

One of the most unexpected moments came from artist Vanessa Horabuena, who created a live painting on stage. In approximately ten minutes, she completed a portrait of Jesus Christ, transforming the dance floor into a live art performance.

President Trump personally led the bidding, starting at $100,000, which turned the charitable segment into a focal point of the celebration. The artwork was later auctioned during the event and sold for $2.75 million. Proceeds were directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and a local sheriff’s department.
