Bella Hadid is welcoming 2026 with a bold new look. The 29-year-old model stepped out in Aspen on Monday, December 30, sporting her lightest hair color yet.
Bella rocked a striking platinum-blonde shade that immediately evoked comparisons to her sister Gigi’s signature icy locks. The Orebella founder, who has long alternated between brunette and blonde styles, swapped her warm honey-colored blonde for an icy white-blonde hue.
This is certainly her most dramatic hair transformation in years. Fans spotted her in effortless waves, her shaggy bangs grown out into face-framing pieces, while she topped off the look with a cream Poncho Wild Places baseball cap featuring a dark brim.
Hadid’s outing included fitted black leggings and cozy knee-high tan Ugg boots. She layered a black hoodie under an oversized tan fur coat and accessorized with her quilted red leather cross-body Chanel tote bag with a chain strap.
For her beauty look, she stepped out in smoky silver eyeshadow, sculpted cheekbones, and nude lipstick. Though Hadid is widely recognized for her brunette locks, she is naturally blonde. Over the past year, she has embraced various blonde shades, starting with a warm honey hue she debuted at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
In 2022, she first experimented with an “Aspen blond” shade, created by colorist Jenna Perry, featuring a golden hue that debuted at her sister’s Guest in Residence pop-up shop.
This latest platinum iteration, however, is cooler and more dramatic, possibly her lightest look yet, apart from the white-blond wigs she occasionally dons for modeling campaigns.
Bella was joined by Sports Illustrated model Brooks Nader, with whom she spent part of the holiday week in the Colorado mountains. Together, the duo explored the snowy streets of the celebrity ski town, showing off casual yet high-fashion winter ensembles.
Bella’s reflections on hair have always been candid. In a 2018 interview with Allure, she said, “I just have a darker personality. And my sister being blond and me being brunette, it’s a good separation. I put a blond wig on and think it would be fun to go back, but I’m happy with my hair. Blondes are so angelic. My sister can get away with anything.”
The timing of the hair change seems fitting for the season. With 2026 approaching, Bella is starting the new year with new changes. Most recently, she shared a glimpse at her fun holiday moments with her inner circle, including her boyfriend Adan Banuelos.
