Khloé Kardashian's fans have always cared about her heart, especially when it comes to Tristan Thompson. After years of embarrassing her with cheating scandals, they seemed to have really called it quits when he welcomed a child with Maralee Nichols in 2022. Still, there has always been speculation that they have still dated in private. So when Tristan's name popped up on this year's Kardashian gingerbread house, it was like a holiday jump scare.
The Kardashians have many traditions, including sending a gingerbread house with all of their names. Travis' stepdaughter, Atiana de La Hoya, shared a snap of this year's house, and while Scott Disick, Kanye West, Travis Scott, and Caitlyn Jenner were left off, Tristan's, Timothée Chalamet, Travis Barker, and Corey Gamble's names were all included. Many things are surprising about this, like the fact that Disick is still very close with the family, even recently having a sleepover with Kylie, Khloe, and Kris Jenner.
Over the weekend, Koko shared a gallery of photos from their Christmas, and while there were no photos of Tristan, fans took to the comments to bring up the gingerbread house. "I see Tristan is on the Gingerbread House, girl, he ain’t gonna change. Be careful!" reads one of the top-liked comments.
The Good American founder saw the comment and responded directly to it, clearing the air. "Hey, baby. He’s my children’s father and forever a part of our family. Thank you, though," she wrote with a winky face. "Trust me. My kids come first forever and always."
Koko and Tristan's life under a microscope
Koko has admitted in the past that the public's judgment about her and Tristan gets to her. After she showed up to support Tristan at a Cleveland game in 2024, she told Disick on an episode of The Kardashians that she had anxiety about it. Not about Tristan, but about being filmed, dissected, and dragged online.
"My family, my circle, they know that Tristan and I, we’re not together," she said in the confessional. "I just didn’t want to hear it anymore. Like, "Oh, she’s going to support her man!" Or whatever people were going to say. It’s like, "Oh my gosh, enough of this," she said.
On a recent episode of her podcast, she praised their "good co-parenting relationship." "I think what I find so funny is that people are always like, "How do you let Tristan back in?" And I'm like, "Well, Tristan's not back in," she explained. "I love that he has a great relationship with his kids. I think that's a beautiful blessing, and I'm never going to get in the way of that. I think it's so important for that relationship to maintain and be as strong as possible."
Is she still celibate?
Meanwhile, Khloe has opened up in the past about celibacy, first hinting in 2024 that she had been voluntarily celibate for two years. Then, in February 2025, on her podcast, she told Laura Wasser, "Listen, I work out to get laid." "I'm, like, someone's gonna see this naked [body] one day, and it has to look good," she said.
While only Koko knows if shes gotten laid since then, she did recently send the internet into excitement when she flirted with a teacher on Instagram. The teacher, Jacob Myers, ended up asking her out publicly, in a viral video, but it's unclear if anything happened after their back-and-forth.
Maybe 2026 will be the year Koko finally finds her forever love.
