Love is officially in the ring for Dwayne Johnson’s eldest daughter. Simone Johnson, better known in the WWE universe as Ava Raine, made her romance with fellow NXT wrestler Tatyanna Dumas Instagram official on Sunday, December 7.
The couple, 24 and 26 respectively, shared a heartfelt video montage capturing their time together, from kisses and hugs to trips and dinners. The reel, posted to their joint Instagram account, carried the simple but touching caption, “From day one.. to everything time can’t erase.”
Reposting it to her own account, Johnson added, “Crying screaming throwing up. I am so lucky.” Though this is their first official acknowledgment of their relationship, the pair have long hinted at romance on social media, frequently sharing PDA-filled posts.
Their connection was visible even during high-profile events, like the London red carpet premiere of Dwayne Johnson’s biopic 'The Smashing Machine' in September, where the three posed together. The proud dad playfully commented on one of the couple’s posts at the premiere, “Break out the Teremana ladies!” referencing his tequila brand.
Simone’s journey into professional wrestling follows a legacy decades in the making. She signed with WWE in 2020, becoming the company’s first-ever fourth-generation superstar. Her grandfather, Peter Maivia, and father, Rocky Johnson, both carved their names in wrestling history before her.
Johnson made her television debut in October 2022 and now serves as NXT’s on-screen general manager, orchestrating matches and guiding storylines for the up-and-coming roster.
Her partner, Tatyanna Dumas, took a slightly different path to the squared circle. Before joining WWE in early 2025, Dumas competed as a professional basketball player in Australia and participated in athletic competitions like the Australian versions of Gladiator and Ninja Warrior.
