Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are enjoying their lives as newborn parents to the fullest. The pair recently welcomed a daughter, and were seen enjoying themselves as they walked through Manhattan with their baby girl.
Brown and Bongiovi were seen dressed appropriately for the cold weather, with her wearing some jeans and a large dark coat. She held on to her daughter tightly, carrying her inside her coat and holding her little head against her chest. She completed the look with some brown boots.
Bongiovi wore dark and baggy jeans, pairing them with a blue and white jacket. He completed the look with brown boots, a cap, and some sunglasses.
The pair was photographed walking through downtown Manhattan together, with Bongiovi leaning close to drop a kiss on Brown's forehead.
Brown and Bongiovi's life as parents
Brown and Bongiovi shared the news of their daughter in August of this year, revealing that they had adopted her. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy," reads their statement, which they shared on social media.
Brown released the latest and final season of "Stranger Things" over the past couple of weeks and has been busy promoting her show with various outlets. In an interview with British Vogue, she revealed why it was important to her and Bongiovi to keep their daughter away from the media spotlight until she was older.
“For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” said Brown. “It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support. But right now, as she’s so little…”
“As her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that," she concluded.
Brown has shared in the past her desire to be a mom and to have a large family. Since she welcomed her daughter, she's shared that the couple has embraced a new stage in their lives and has been granted a new perspective as parents. “The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy,” she said.
Brown also made it clear that they have both decided to split the burden of parenting, going 50-50 on all responsibilities. "That’s why I’m so grateful to have partnered with him in this life — he is just the most amazing dad," she said.
