Miley Cyrus is sharing the real reason behind her engagement to Maxx Morando. The singer was recently featured on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," opening up about her new song "Dream as One," featured on the soundtrack of "Avatar: Fire & Ash", and her recent engagement, with her showing off her ring.
Cyrus sat down and opened up about one of her problems with the Christmas season. "I hate paper. Like, looking at that makes me want to vomit," said Cyrus, pointing towards one of Kimmel's cue cards. "Bleh, don't even do it," she said, looking away.
"When someone sends me a lovely letter, I just don't even open it," she explained. "It's a phobia. And I need help."
Cyrus revealed that while she's been struggling with the phobia for most of her life, it's been getting worse in recent years. "There does need to be some sort of intervention. And I am going to look into some sort of EMDR, maybe getting hypnotized. Because it is affecting my everyday life." Cyrus. shared that people receiving Amazon boxes make her "sick."
"Because the cardboard is the worst of it all. It's extra dry. And there's packaging in it. That's really why I got engaged, because I just make my fiancé open all the packages outside," she said, prompting laughs from the audience.
Cyrus saved her most hilarious quip for last. Kimmel asked her if she could even sign the marriage certificate, and Cyrus said, "Anything that's got a smooth surface is better." Then, in a whisper to the audience, she added, "and from the last marriage, I think I remember that the paper is waxed."
