Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are taking their relationship to the next level. The couple, who've been dating for the past couple of months, are traveling together and spent a night out with the former Japanese Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, and his wife.
The pair were recently in Japan, where they spent their time productively and met with some of the nation's most notorious figures. Kishida shared a photo on his X account, showing him and his wife alongside Trudeau and Perry.
Kishida referred to Perry as Trudeau's "partner," showing that the relationship is pretty serious.
"Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau visited Japan with his partner and joined my wife and me for lunch. During his time as prime minister, we met multiple times as fellow leaders, and when I visited Canada, we worked together to strengthen bilateral relations, including formulating the 'Japan-Canada Action Plan,' sweating it out side by side," reads the post. "I am delighted that we continue to maintain this friendship in this way."
The image shows Trudeau and Perry standing side by side, with im wearing a grey suit paired with a pale blue button-up. Perry wore a matching brown top and skirt, which she paired with a black turtleneck, black tights, and black boots. The pair posed alongside Kishida and his wife.
Trudeau replied to the image. "Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko. Thank you, Fumio, for your friendship and your continued commitment to both the international rules-based order and to a better future for everyone," he wrote.

Earlier this week, Trudeau and Perry were spotted enjoying themselves in Tokyo, with the two spotted holding hands as they enjoyed a date together. For the occasion, Perry kept her identity shielded by wearing a hat and a face mask, while Trudeau wore a dark blazer, some jeans, Adidas sneakers, and a cap.
The pair were seen doing various tourist activities, including hanging out at some tourist areas and having dinner at Asakusa Sumo Stable ANNEX, a restaurant where guests dine as they watch sumo wrestling bouts. The Daily Mail reports that the pair was seen having dinner as they watched some matches.
The trip appears to have been taken to accommodate Perry's schedule, who's currently touring in Asia. Her tour is scheduled to wrap up in Abu Dhabi this December 7th.
