North West may be coming for Heidi Klum's queen of Halloween title. The 12-year-old has been going all out this year and is pretty much doing a countdown to the big day. Her costumes have been going viral, and she just debuted two more in 24 hours.
On Monday, North shared videos dressing as BABYMETAL, the Japanese kawaii metal band. She posed with two girls in matching costumes that looked straight out of the band’s iconic wardrobe.
In the clips, the trio showed off their dance moves with the sounds of BABYMETAL playing in the background. North switched from lead singer to guitarist, with the videos racking up millions of views.
But North didn't stop there. On Tuesday, she shared videos dressed up as Twitch streamer Kai Cenat. It was another group costume with her friends dressing up as content creators, Ray and Tota MC.
She rocked fake dreads, a goatee, and a thin penciled mustache with a grey suit. A few weeks ago, Cenat had a viral moment when he wore a grey suit that Druski said looked like disgraced rapper Diddy.
North's Halloween costumes
We still have three more days until Halloween, and fans can't wait to see what North wears on the big day. She's been cracking everyone up with her looks and dragging her famous family into it.
Over the weekend, she broke the internet with her mom, Kim Kardashian, and grandma Kris Jenner. Kim dressed up as Pink Cardigan, with Kim as J Guapõ and Kris as Chrissy G.
The trio is a family known for their comedic skits and pranks. J Guapõ and Pink Cardigan are siblings, and Chrissy is their mom.
Guapõ shared his excitement when he saw the video on TikTok, writing in the caption, "Nah chat we made ittttt." "North put me on 😂," Kim responded.
North's makeup "controversy"
North seemed to start Halloween early, stirring controversy earlier this month when she shared TikTok videos wearing blue, colorful contacts, with fake face tattoos, piercings, a grill, and Henna tattoos on her hands.
The look was for an OsamaSon concert, and it was clearly all fun and games, but the internet had things to say, commenting on her age and making comments alluding to the idea that she is having a mental health crisis like her father, Kanye West. But the idea that North looks too "grown up" should come with a mirror, as we ask adults why they are participating in the adultification and, at times, sexualization of a young child.
While Kim has admitted that some looks haven't worked in the past, she made it clear she will always support her creativity. "I'm like, 'Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is.' It makes her so happy. I would never take that creativity away from her," she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
