Cazzu isn’t holding back. The Argentine trap star has fired back after Christian Nodal released an official statement through his lawyer, addressing the legal and financial situation surrounding their daughter, Inti. What started as a clarification quickly turned into a public back-and-forth that’s revealing deeper tensions between the former couple.
In a statement issued by his legal representative, attorney César Muñoz, the Mexican singer asserted that he has “complied punctually” with all his financial responsibilities toward his daughter. According to the document, Nodal has allegedly provided support exceeding what Argentine law requires, payments that reportedly total several million Mexican pesos. The statement also emphasized that each of these transactions is fully documented.
However, Nodal’s message didn’t stop at financial matters. He went further, accusing Cazzu of “harming” their daughter through recent public comments. He maintained that he’s always prioritized Inti’s emotional stability and has sought open communication and cooperation with Cazzu.
Cazzu Fires Back: “It’s Shameless, Honestly”
When approached by reporters at Mexico City International Airport, Cazzu didn’t hide her frustration. “First, I think it’s shameless—let me start by saying that,” she said. “But overall, I’d love for all that energy—the energy put into interviews, statements, and traveling around—to be used instead to reach agreements on important decisions that concern my daughter’s future.”
She also questioned the timing of Nodal’s statement, pointing out that it conveniently coincided with the start of his concert tour across Mexico. “I feel very attacked, and it feels very violent—especially given the timing they chose. But anyway… all I can do is keep working.”
“Show Me Where That Money Went”
Addressing Nodal’s claim of having paid several million pesos for Inti’s care, Cazzu fired back with a pointed remark: “Then please tell me where that money went.” She made it clear she has all the evidence needed to defend herself if necessary—but she doesn’t want to be dragged into a public battle.
“I don’t want to resort to revealing everything I know just to defend myself against something I don’t think I should even have to defend,” she said. “It’s strange how some people dare to make statements, almost in a threatening way, about things that are so easy to prove.”
A Plea for Peace and Cooperation
Despite the tension, Cazzu ended her remarks on a more conciliatory note, expressing her hope to reach a peaceful resolution for their daughter’s sake. “It worries me because I honestly thought this wouldn’t happen, that we wouldn’t need to go through this. I’ve done everything I can to cooperate. I’m fine with the fact that he fell in love with someone else; that’s not the issue,” she said.
“The only thing to resolve is for both of us to agree. There are processes and professionals ready to help us talk and reach a solution—but for that to work, both sides have to be willing to listen.”
While both artists continue to make headlines, their focus, at least publicly, remains on their daughter, Inti. Yet, this recent exchange shows that co-parenting in the spotlight comes with its own challenges.
