Heidi Klum may be putting her famous backside front and center in this year’s much-anticipated Halloween costume.
The supermodel, 52, sparked buzz on Friday after posting a mysterious photo to Instagram showing what appeared to be a plaster mold of her torso — including her back and bottom.
“Feeling cheeky 🍑😜,” Klum teased in the caption, tagging prosthetic makeup designer Mike Marino, who’s known for creating elaborate transformations for film and television.
Klum, who’s become synonymous with her extravagant annual “Heidiween” celebrations, had already begun dropping hints about her 2025 costume earlier this month. On October 1, she shared photos of what looked like a facial prosthetic mask mounted on a metal display.
“This is just the beginning 👀👻💀🎃,” she wrote at the time, alongside the hashtag #HeidiHalloween.
Speaking to People on Saturday, Klum promised that — much like in previous years — she plans to lean into something grotesque rather than glamorous.
“I’m going to be very ugly because I always try to do something different,” she revealed. “I thought last year, I was very cute with my husband as E.T. And the year before that, we were the big peacock with performers. After the worm [in 2022] that felt so simple, I wanted to make something complicated.”
Reflecting on her elaborate 2023 ensemble, Klum added, “And with having 15 [performers as part of the peacock costume], being so many bodies creating one thing, I thought that that was different again. So I hope I came up with something new again.”
The model’s dedication to crafting jaw-dropping costumes is legendary. When she debuted the massive peacock look last year, she told Page Six it required serious teamwork behind the scenes.
“There’s a lot of moving parts and people needing this and that. You know, [hair]spray, and so it’s a lot of commotion with so many people doing this, you know?” she explained.
And the planning starts early. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon back in August, Klum admitted she’d been working on her next transformation for months.
“I’m hard at work already,” she told host Jimmy Fallon. “Like, already months ago.”
As for what to expect this year, Klum teased that her 2025 costume will be “super scary” and “extra ugly.”
