In a video shared by PEOPLE, Schwarzenegger can be seen sitting on the stands. The moment that Champion walks on the runway, he pulls out his phone, recording her full walk. As she walks back and approaches his section of the stands, Schwarzenegger is seen getting up and cheering on her as he continues to record her.
This is a special moment for Champion. The 28-year-old model made her Victoria's Secret debut while wearing a pink baby doll dress, matched with black underwear and angel wings.
Champion shared photos and videos of the entire behind-the-scenes process through social media, sharing how excited she was to be a part of such an iconic show.
"Truly the most unforgettable day and an ultimate dream come true," she wrote on Instagram. "Thank you to the entire team for making it so magical. My first VS show."
Some of the images Champion shared showed her and Schwarzenegger on the runway after the show had ended, with the newlyweds standing next to her parents. She also shared a photo of Schwarzenegger kissing a photo of Champion backstage.
He reshared the photo on his Instagram stories, writing, "Proud husband." In one of Champion's posts, Schwarzenegger also dropped various heart-eye emojis.
Schwarzenegger and Champion's sweet relationship
Schwarzenegger and Champion celebrated their wedding earlier this year, in a ceremony hosted in Idaho. The event was a three-day affair that gathered some of their closest friends and family, with them sharing some of their happy memories on social media.
Schwarzenegger and Champion have been together for years, with them going on their first date in 2015, after meeting at a bar with some friends in Los Angeles. “He got my number, asked me out, and the rest is history," said Champion in an interview with Vogue.
In the case of Schwarzenegger, he's long discussed how supportive Champion is and the great relationship that they have built over the years. “The best part about having her by my side is that she's always rooting for me,” said Schwarzenegger to E! News in 2019. “And wanting the best for me and bringing out the best in me.”
